I remember my dearest Stephanie Baloy giving me this quote through the phone while I was spending a week in Kansas last January. Such a simple saying and yet something so difficult for me to master. My mind is always wandering, always spider-webbing or swirling. Anticipation can be kin to worry; reminiscing kin to nostalgia. But living wisely with expectant optimism can only produce gratitude and pave the way for better tomorrows and, perhaps, even a better me.
Time continues to roll, so I've decided that I need to do a better job at enjoying each moment and not looking too much into things that have gone before or may/will occur. Today I am enjoying an empty house, a good book, and checking off some things on my To-Do List :).
